RESEARCH INTERESTS AND CURRENT RESEARCH

Bernardo Bertoldi teaches at the Department of Management of the University of Turin and at ESCP-Europe London and Turin campuses; after accomplishing his Ph.D. (2003) in management and corporate finance, he focuses his research activity on entrepreneurship, family capitalism, tourism and health management innovation. In 2007 he attended the EECPCL (European Entrepreneurship Colloquium on Participant-Centered Learning) and the CWCD (Case Writing and Course Development Seminar) at Harvard Business School.

He is a member of the Cambridge Institute for Family Enterprises (CIFE) founded by Prof. John Davis of Harvard Business School with whom he has been conducting research and writing for years. The academic research and the gained experience have allowed him to support many entrepreneurial families in Europe. He is a member of the ICxT, The Innovation Centre (University of Turin) that has the objective to develop technological innovative projects for small and medium enterprises operating in different sectors. He is involved in different projects on these topics and, he is currently working on health management innovation.

He is columnist with Il Sole 24 Ore on Family Capitalism and Automotive industry.

He teaches at the Business School of the University of Turin (Marketing to the bachelor students, Family Business Strategy to the post graduated students, and Corporate Finance to MBA students) and at ESCP-Europe in London and Turin Campus (Fundamental of Finance and The Entrepreneurial Manager at MIM, Family Business and Entrepreneurial at MBA).

He is one of the founders of 3H Partners a consulting firm based in Italy, UK, France and USA.

He is Vicepresident of Club degli Investitori, the first Italian business angel association, board member of Atlantia (infrastructure, listed at the Milan Stock Exchange), Azimut|Benetti (the global leader of the luxury yacht industry), Banca Sella Family.
